How do I cancel my subscription?
App Store: open iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Astari → Cancel Subscription.
Website: email support@astari.app from the address used at purchase. You keep access through the current paid period.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I request a refund?
App Store: request it from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Website: email support@astari.app. Approved refunds usually appear on the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on the bank.
I paid on the website. How do I activate Astari?
Download Astari from the App Store, then open Profile → Authorization → Log In and enter the same email used at purchase. Tap the sign-in link sent to your inbox. Premium activates after you are logged in.
I paid, but the app still shows Free. What should I do?
For a website purchase, log in with the purchase email under Profile → Authorization. For an App Store purchase, open the Upgrade screen and tap Restore while signed in to the same Apple ID. If it still does not activate, email support@astari.app.
The sign-in email never arrived. What should I do?
Request a fresh one-time link from Profile → Authorization and check spam or junk. Links expire quickly, so use the newest message. If it still does not arrive, contact support.
What can I create with Astari?
Tap Create Note to record audio, import a supported file or summarize a YouTube video. Astari produces a transcript and structured summary. You can apply templates, ask questions, organize notes into folders and share the result.
My recording is stuck. Is it lost?
Keep Astari open on a stable Wi-Fi connection while the recording uploads and processes. Larger recordings may take 10–15 minutes. If it has been stuck for more than an hour, contact support with the approximate recording time.
Can Astari record phone or video calls?
Astari records through the device microphone. It can capture a call played aloud on speaker, but iOS does not let third-party apps directly access the private call-audio stream. Always obtain any consent required before recording.
Does Astari work on Apple Watch?
Yes. Install Astari through the Watch app on your iPhone and optionally add its complication to a watch face for one-tap recording. Watch recordings sync back to the iPhone automatically.
Is there an Android version?
Astari is currently available for the Apple ecosystem, including iPhone and Apple Watch. There is no Android version at this time.
Can I export my notes and original audio?
Yes. Open a note to download the original recording or share its summary or transcript as copied text, TXT or PDF.
Is Astari more than a voice recorder?
Yes. Astari turns recordings and imports into structured summaries, action items and reusable templates. You can chat with a single note or ask questions across your notes to find decisions and context later.
How long can a recording be?
Recordings can be up to 5 hours on iPhone and up to 2 hours on Apple Watch. Longer recordings naturally require more processing time.
Can Astari summarize YouTube videos?
Yes. Choose Get Summary from YouTube, paste the video link and Astari will create a structured summary that you can explore in chat.
What are Templates?
Templates turn the same source note into the document you need — such as meeting minutes, a decision log, follow-up tracker, brainstorm, interview notes or lecture recap.
